Full transparency: the screen has a slight yellow tint visible when the console is off — it disappears completely once the console is powered on and has no effect whatsoever on operation or gaming enjoyment on its 5-inch OLED screen.

PS Vita Fat or Slim: what's the difference?

The Fat (PCH-1000) packs an OLED screen with incomparable colors, where the Slim switches to a decent but less contrasted LCD. The Slim is lighter and longer-lasting — but for image quality, the Fat remains the absolute reference, and Grade A makes it an affordable way in.

The Yochamida refurbishment

Every PS Vita that leaves our workshop follows a complete protocol: disassembly, cleaning of every part, replacement of worn components, testing of all functions (screen, front and rear touch, buttons, joysticks, sound, Wi-Fi) and a clean, stable custom firmware installation.
