SHIPPING POLICY

Welcome to Yochamida. This Shipping Policy aims to inform you, clearly and transparently, about the conditions under which your orders are prepared, shipped, and delivered.

1. Delivery Areas

Yochamida ships its orders worldwide, subject to customs or regulatory restrictions applicable to certain products or countries.

2. Order Preparation Time

Each order is prepared within 1 to 3 business days from its validation and payment confirmation.

Orders placed on weekends and public holidays are processed on the next business day.

3. Carriers and Delivery Times

Yochamida uses recognized carriers to ensure reliable and secure delivery: Colissimo, Chronopost, DHL Express, FedEx, and UPS.

The delivery times indicated below are understood to be from the shipment of the package (and not from the order), and are provided as a guideline.

3.1. Metropolitan France

Standard (Colissimo, DPD, Pickup Point) 48 to 72 hours (2 to 3 business days)

3.2. Europe

Delivery method Estimated time
Express (DHL, FedEx, UPS) 24 to 48 hours depending on the destination city

3.3. Rest of the world (International)

Delivery method Estimated time
Express (DHL, FedEx, UPS) 2 to 5 business days
Standard (Colissimo International) 5 to 12 business days depending on the destination

These timeframes are provided as a guideline and do not constitute a firm contractual commitment. They may vary depending on the carrier, the destination, logistical issues, or exceptional circumstances (bad weather, strikes, peak periods, customs formalities, etc.).

4. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout, based on the weight of the package, the destination, and the selected delivery method. The ranges below are indicative:

4.1. Metropolitan France

  • Pickup Point: between €4.50 and €5.50
  • Standard Home: between €7.50 and €9.50
  • Express: between €11.00 and €15.00

4.2. Europe (Euro Zone)

  • Standard: between €10.00 and €14.00
  • Express: between €18.00 and €25.00
  • International Relay Point (Mondial Relay): between €7.00 and €9.00

4.3. Rest of the World (International)

  • Standard: between €18.00 and €30.00
  • Express: between €35.00 and €60.00

The exact amount of the delivery fees applicable to your order is communicated to you before the final validation of the payment.

5. Order Tracking

As soon as your order is shipped, an automatic email is sent to you by our Shopify platform, containing the tracking number as well as a link to track the delivery of your package in real time with the carrier.

If you do not receive this email within a reasonable time after your order, we encourage you to check your spam folder and, if necessary, to contact us at the address yochamida@gmail.com.

6. Customs Duties and Import Taxes

For any delivery to a country located outside the European Union (notably the United States, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Canada, Australia, etc.), customs duties, local taxes, or import fees may be applied by the authorities of the destination country.

These fees are entirely the responsibility of the recipient customer and are not included in the price of the products or in the delivery charges paid on the site. We encourage you to check with the customs authorities in your country before placing an order.

The refusal to pay these fees or the refusal to accept the package by the recipient shall not engage the liability of Yochamida.

7. Transfer of Risk

In accordance with Article L.216-4 of the Consumer Code, the risk of loss or damage to the products is transferred to the customer at the moment when the customer, or a third party designated by them (other than the carrier), physically takes possession of the package.

Until effective possession is taken, the risks related to transport remain the responsibility of Yochamida.

8. Incorrect or incomplete delivery address

The customer is solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information provided when placing their order (first name, last name, full address, postal code, phone number, etc.).

In case of an incorrect, incomplete, or inaccurate address resulting in a delivery failure, a return of the package, or the need for reshipping:

  • the reshipping costs are the sole responsibility of the customer;
  • in case of a cancellation and refund request, only the amount of the products will be refunded, excluding the shipping fees initially paid.

9. Lost, damaged, or undelivered package

In case of a problem occurring during transport (lost, damaged, abnormally delayed, or undelivered package), the customer is invited to contact us by email at the address yochamida@gmail.com, within a maximum of 30 days following the estimated delivery date.

To facilitate the processing of your request, please provide us with:

  • your order number;
  • the tracking number of the package;
  • a precise description of the problem encountered, accompanied if possible by photographs (in case of damaged packages).

Upon receiving your request, we will initiate a carrier investigation. Depending on the results of this investigation, we will proceed, as soon as possible, with either reshipping the product or issuing a refund, in accordance with current regulations.

After the 30-day period, no claims regarding delivery can be accepted.
